Life is good here and I relish my career, which allows me to devote most of my waking hours to the area's delicious offerings—Dungeness crabs and outstanding Seattle-area restaurants, juicy peaches and world-class wines.
For more than a decade, I've been writing about the joys of cooking and dining, primarily for the Northwest table. But I have also written about the Cuervo family distillery in Tequila, Mexico; French spa towns; salmon fishing on Kodiak Island; New York's venerable Four Seasons restaurant; and many other subjects. The fun never ends when food and wine, friends and good times are involved. Thanks for coming to visit.
In honor of my dad, I recreated his signature grilled whole salmon on the backyard Weber. A lovely sockeye salmon, stuffed with slices of lemon, lime, onion, drizzled with butter. A delicious way to remember a wonderful man for Father's Day.
